YF - Evolution of Foam Helms - Far right bowl was what I began with, made from 1/2" excercise mats, the material was very thick and hard to shape. Middle Right, I began using a modified pattern from Beverly Downen's "Cosplayer's Ultimate Guide to EVA Foam" with much thinner material, 2 mm thick. Middle Left is a finalized, confident go at the same pattern. Left is the "Monster" sized helmet, adjusted for size of expected head of our Frankenstein's Monster.
